ACEC Ohio Awards Excellence in Engineering

ACEC Ohio celebrated 20 years of excellence on March 12 as we wrapped up the 2020 Engineering Excellence Awards. Over 180 attendees enjoyed the countdown to the Grand Award winner! 

We celebrated our scholarship winners, with the four-chapter areas each awarding a $2500 scholarship to a regional university student. We also celebrated our first class of Rising Leader Graduates. (see separate articles).  

ACEC Ohio was honored to have Managing Director Glenn Richardson from JobsOhio speak to the attendees of this year’s luncheon.  Glenn spoke about Ohio's economy and the JobsOhio five-year strategic plan. Finally, we welcomed back Marshall McPeek, a long-time Columbus meteorologist, as the host for the awards program. 

Congratulations to Gannett Fleming the 2020 Grand Award winner for the Buckeye Lake Dam Improvement project!
