• Advocacy: ACEC continues to advance key infrastructure priorities, including the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA), PFAS regulations, federal procurement, energy, and workforce development. House and Senate committees have approved their respective WRDA bills, setting the stage for floor votes this fall.
• Workforce & Talent: ACEC National continues to focus on strengthening the engineering workforce through initiatives with ACE Mentor, the Engineering Workforce Consortium, and professional development programs designed to help firms develop and retain talent.
• Industry Trends & Resources: New research, podcasts, and analysis are helping members navigate major industry trends, including AI, data centers, infrastructure investment, water management, and evolving economic and policy conditions. 2027 Engineering Excellence Awards Call for Entries - Coming August 10

Get ready to showcase your firm's outstanding work! The ACEC Ohio Engineering Excellence Awards recognize the most innovative and impactful engineering projects, highlighting excellence before clients, industry leaders, and decision-makers across the state.

The 2027 Call for Entries will be released on August 10, so keep an eye on your inbox. Now is a great time to identify projects you'd like to submit.

Projects substantially completed and ready for use between November 1, 2024, and October 31, 2026 are eligible. Entries are due November 5, 2026.
