ACEC Ohio COVID-19 Business Survey Results
ACEC Ohio COVID-19 Business Survey
We surveyed our member firms to gain insight on your business needs as we look toward economic recovery and how ACEC Ohio can best serve as your resource. We had 42 member firms participate.
Below are the key highlights from the responses received thus far:
- Once the emergency order is lifted, what do you see your business needs and challenges will be in 6 months, 12 months, 18 months?
- Getting employees to feel comfortable coming back into the office
- Recovering market and reduced opportunities
- Cash flow and regaining new work
- Is there anything the state government can do to assist your business in getting back to pre-corona virus cash flow? Authorizing contracts, permits, etc.
- Keep design and construction going and ramp up federal stimulus to offset loss of local project revenue
- Authorizing contracts/projects
- Reduce review times on permits & provide immediate clarity on funding streams
- How can ACEC Ohio best serve you and your firm during this time?
- Be a strong voice for the consultant community in the political arena & advocate needs at the state and federal level
- Provide timely information relative to actions and orders affecting the engineering industry
- Continue to host Zoom meetings to discuss issues related to COVID-19 as well as keeping you informed
