Join the ACEC Ohio Northwest Chapter on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Toledo Club for an engaging presentation by Grant Hilbers, Chief Capital Officer with the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority.

The Gordie Howe International Bridge is a once-in-a-generation project connecting Windsor, Ontario, with Detroit, Michigan. With a main span of 0.53 miles, it stands as the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America and the tenth longest in the world.

Grant will share insights into the engineering behind this legacy project, provide a construction update, and discuss the final steps before the bridge opens to traffic in early 2026.
