Over 75 members attended the ACEC Ohio Annual Meeting on June 12, 2025, at Vitria on the Square in Columbus. The event brought engineering leaders together to reflect on the past year and look ahead.
The day began with the ACEC Ohio Board of Directors Meeting, where key committee updates were shared. Attendees then enjoyed a networking lunch buffet offering a chance to catch up with peers and expand professional relationships.
Al Biehl, outgoing Chair of the ACEC Ohio Board, delivered the annual State of the Association address, highlighting organizational achievements and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening the voice of engineering in Ohio.
The keynote presentation featured Michael Feuz of ITR Economics, one of the nation’s leading economic forecasters. Feuz shared insightful, data-driven projections on inflation, workforce trends, and regional market dynamics, offering a clear view of what the engineering sector can expect into the 2030s.
The meeting concluded with the Transition of Officers and Awards Presentation, honoring board members Brendan Lieske, Brad Lowrey, and Rod Sommer for their dedicated service. Leadership transitions were also recognized: Al Biehl moved into the Past Chair role, with Nick McCullough stepping in as the new Chair, and Monica Mosure taking on the position of National Director.
